The Hoppe company is a family company founded by Friedrich Hoppe in 1952, HOPPE has developed into a global group, based in Switzerland. The HOPPE Group develops, manufactures and markets components for doors and windows made of aluminum, brass, polyamide and stainless steel, with an emphasis on capturing the ambience in every detail. Since the mid-1970s, Hoppe has been the market leader in its segment throughout Europe.
HOPPE divides its range into three clearly defined product lines duravert® , duraplus® and duranorm® , these categories being intended to meet the most demanding customer requirements. All three product lines are characterized by a common requirement: the renowned HOPPE quality. Hoppe guarantees 10 years of functionality for the products if the conditions of use are respected.
Hoppe Brass:
HOPPE brand brass handles are made from brass alloys. The surfaces are protected by a transparent layer of burnt varnish, having a very good resistance to the action of solvents and chemicals, or by chrome plating. If through a mechanical action (for example, a key) the superficial layer of varnish is damaged, this will lead to the appearance of corrosion spots (brown). Brass fittings do not require special care. Impurities can be wiped off with a soft cloth moistened with water. It is recommended not to use aggressive cleaning agents. Brass fittings can also be provided with the HOPPE guarantee for Resista® surfaces
Resista® – HOPPE guarantee for surfaces
HOPPE handles with Resista® have a 10-year surface warranty (also note: "Warranty statement"). They are ideal to be used, on the one hand, in areas near the coasts and, on the other hand, in spaces with intense traffic such as public buildings, shops or hotels. All products provided with a guarantee for Resista® surfaces have been subject to permanent quality checks and meet the requirements of European standards EN 1670 ("Corrosion behavior of locks and hardware - requirements and control methods").
Time means money – faster and better: HOPPE quick grip
With the traditional assembly of door handles, numerous stages must be completed, thus requiring frequent clamping operations. This is tiring and time consuming. Clearly faster and better: the HOPPE quick-release connection. By means of this advanced technique, the door handles are fixed with a single movement, without the possibility of detachment. The basic idea of this new technique is the clip mechanism developed by HOPPE in the inside handle, the one with the square hole. It takes the solid square pin of the handle from the outside and grips it for a durable, play-free fit. By means of the solid square pin, the square cross-section is used for maximum torque transfer. The HOPPE quick connection is an axial connection of the door handle, verified in accordance with DIN EN 1906 and usable for various door thicknesses (within a defined range).
Brief presentation of the advantages of the HOPPE quick-release coupling:
• Very quick fixing of the door handle: - approx. 75% time saving compared to the traditional assembly of the door handle
• No hex socket head screws or cross pins are required
- without threaded hole
- without axial alignment when screwing the pin with the part with the hole for the door handle
- it is excluded the possibility that the screws with hexagonal socket or the transverse pins will come off by themselves
